Man Arrested After 7-Hour Standoff In Tustin

TUSTIN (CBS) — Authorities Friday arrested a man who barricaded himself in his apartment for approximately seven hours.

SWAT negotiators were called to the scene of a domestic dispute at an apartment building around 4 a.m.

A woman came out and told them her husband, who reportedly has a violent criminal history, had guns in the apartment.

The complex was evacuated, but crisis negotiators talked the man into surrendering just after 11 a.m.

Officers escorted the handcuffed suspect to a patrol car.
