EAGLE ROCK (CBS) — The search an Eagle Rock neighborhood for an alleged gunman resulted in the arrest of two suspects Wednesday.

Anti-gang officers patrolled the area of Avenue 46 and Alumni Avenue, southwest of Occidental College, around noon when they saw the suspect and tried to detain him, but he ran off, Los Angeles police said.

Police combed the area and later arrested two men, according to LAPD media relations.

Occidental College was not placed on lockdown.
