LOS ANGELES (CBS) — A man accused of stalking Hollywood actress Halle Berry appeared in court Wednesday morning.

Richard Anthony Franco, 27, was charged with first-degree residential burglary. He had previously been charged with one felony count of stalking.

Franco was arrested last month after security guards working for Berry detained him at her Hollywood home.

Police say neighbors reported seeing Franco jump over a locked security gate there several times.
