Christopher Schwarzenegger Released From Hospital Following Surfing Accident

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Maria Shriver and Arnold Schwarzenegger’s son Christopher has been released from a local hospital.

Christopher Schwarzenegger, 13, was released Monday following a surfing accident in Malibu July 17.

“Blessed to be able to take Christopher out of the hospital last night. What a feeling of relief to know that he’s going to be fine,” Shriver posted on Twitter Tuesday.

Christopher Schwarzenegger reportedly suffered several broken bones and a collapsed lung in the accident.

“Thanks for all your support for Christopher. It means a lot to me & to him. He’s doing much better & we’ll have him back at full speed soon,” Arnold Schwarzenegger tweeted Monday.

    An accident is an accident. That said, if you clamor for custody, do well to do the job and keep safety in mind with the kids. Don’t just take the checks and turn a blind eye on the safety of the kids.
