LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Reality TV star Kristin Cavallari and Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler have called off their engagement, with Cutler the one who reportedly did the dumping.

“She got dumped,” a source tells People. “She’s absolutely devastated. She can’t believe this is happening.”

“She was planning her dream wedding, the date was set, the location – everything was set,” the source adds. “She’s in shock that the dream wedding she was planning is going to end this way.”

The couple, who became engaged in April, were planning a spring wedding, and even completed their wedding registry, which was revealed last week.

While the two have yet to confirm or deny the reports, Cavallari, 24, hinted at the split on Twitter Sunday.

“Thanks for the support. Love you guys,” she wrote.

You guys are commenting like she was the best thing ever. You don’t know what happened and why he dumped her and she’s not even that great looking, she looks like a camel. Plus no one should be marrying just for looks. This is what happens when you get engaged in a short period of time. I’m sure he realized what an annoying gold digger she really is.
