Bomb Squad Removes Suspicious Cylinder In Van Nuys
VAN NUYS (CBS) — A bomb squad has removed that suspicious 4-foot cylinder found in the 6800 block of Cedros Avenue in Van Nuys.
Authorities said the residential area roadway was blocked briefly Monday, just after 6 a.m.
The bomb squad determined at 8:12 a.m. that it was an empty tank and there was no danger.
There were no evacuations and no one was hurt.
