Small Plane Crash Kills 2 Near Cleveland National Forest

CORONA (CBS) — A single-engine plane has crashed near Cleveland National Forest, killing two on board, the Federal Aviation Administration confirmed.

Corona Deputy Fire Chief John Medina said the plane went down about 10:25 a.m. and started a fire in Joseph Canyon, which crews were able to quickly control.

Investigators with the National Transportation Safety Board were en route to crash site.

Details are still unfolding.
