NORTH HOLLYWOOD (CBS) — Arson investigators with the city fire department Saturday were examining the scene of some suspicious vehicle fires at an apartment complex in North Hollywood, a fire official said.
Firefighters responded to reports of several vehicles on fire at a two-story apartment building in the 11800 block of W. Victory Boulevard about 4:12 a.m. and declared a knock down at 4:27 a.m., authorities said.
Preliminary reports indicated the flames damaged three to four cars in the underground parking structure and spread to one of the units, displacing several residents.
An arson unit was called out to the scene after firefighters deemed the fires “suspicious.”
A damage estimate was not immediately available.
