(KFWB 980) — A few years ago, the Los Angeles Times called the Broadway Theater district downtown one of the city’s most hidden yet sparkling gems.
The six-block stretch of Broadway between Third and Ninth was home to a dozen of the grand movie palaces dating back to the 1930s — the largest concentration in the United States.
While the buildings remain, only one of them has been fully restored.
