(KFWB 980) — Early in the last century, a writer described Los Angeles as “72 suburbs in search of a city.”
That writer would probably now say the search is over: the past decade has seen the downtown area grow into a vibrant city center.
One development company called Linear City is responsible for more than 500,000 square feet of living, work and retail space in the downtown LA Arts District. The company – which started up in 1999 – shows no signs of slowing down.
