Lohan In Court For Progress Report Hearing

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — A judge told actress Lindsay Lohan to speed up her community service obligations during a probation progress report hearing Thursday morning.

Lohan, who pleaded no contest to stealing a necklace from a jewelry store in Venice earlier this year, attended a routine case review conference with Judge Stephanie Sautner. Sautner is overseeing the 25-year-old actress' probation for drunken driving and misdemeanor theft cases that date back to 2007.

KNX 1070's Ed Mertz reports.

After spending more than a  month on house arrest, the actress has served four out of the ordered 60 days of community service. Lohan has one year to complete her sentence and Sautner warned her that she would not be given additional time.

The actress has already completed one court ordered shoplifters anonymous class. She must provide proof of counseling by August 11.

Lohan is due back in court October 19 to give Judge Sautner another progress update.

If she stays out of trouble, Lohan's probation may end this year.

Meanwhile, TMZ is reporting that an employee at the Betty Ford Center is prepared to file a lawsuit against Lohan Thursday.

She claims the actress attacked her and that she deserves at least $1 million.
