STUDIO CITY (CBS) — Are you a helicopter parent?

Joan Chester was one and her son Adam wrote a book at about it.

“S’Mother: The Story of a Man, His Mom, and the Thousands of Altogether Insane Letters She’s Mailed Him” is the story of Adam, whose mom peppered his life with unsolicited advice, news updates, and opinions in the form of thousands of inappropriate, embarrassing, and utterly crazy letters for almost 30 years. The letters help compile the memoir that will make you feel better about your own mother.

Adam Chester will be signing copies of his book on July 22 at 7 p.m. at the Santa Monica Barnes and Noble.
