Feds Seize $1M Worth Of Meth In Riverside

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Federal agents have arrested two men and seized more than $1 million worth of methamphetamine in a Southern California sting operation.

The U.S. attorney's office says 28 pounds of meth were seized on July 15th in Riverside.

Two men from Mexico who allegedly tried to sell the dope to an undercover agent were charged this week with transportation and sales of methamphetamine. They could face up to 14 years in prison if convicted.

Authorities believe the methamphetamine was smuggled from Mexico to Yuma, Ariz., and then to Riverside.
