Deputies Shoot Suspect, Search For Another In Cudahy
CUDAHY (CBS) — A sheriff's deputy shot a suspect Thursday night in Cudahy and authorities were searching for another suspect.
Shooting erupted between the suspects and deputies in the 3700 block of Live Oak Street shortly before 10 p.m., according to the Sheriff's Headquarters Bureau.
It was unclear how the shooting started.
Officials report that the two suspects opened fire on deputies, who shot back and wounded a suspect. The suspect was taken to a hospital in unknown condition.
No deputies were injured and authorities set a perimeter to find another suspect in the area near Live Oak Street and Salt Lake Avenue.
