Police Looking For Man They Say Sexually Assaulted Women After Party
THERMAL (CBS) — Sheriff's investigators Wednesday were seeking a man accused of sexually assaulting a woman following a party in Thermal.
Deputies were dispatched about 5:15 a.m. to the 55000 block of Rue Montigny, sheriff's Capt. Raymond Gregory said. They were told a large party was held the night before, and one of the attendees, a 29-year-old woman, awoke to find a man sexually assaulting her.
The alleged victim said she had became intoxicated at the party and fell asleep in a bedroom.
The woman and other partygoers gave deputies information on the alleged attacker's identity, according to Gregory.
He also said investigators were in the process of confirming the man's name and trying to find him.
