LONG BEACH (CBS) — A stretch of the Metro Blue Line in Long Beach is scheduled to be closed this weekend for tree trimming.
According to Metro officials, Long Beach Boulevard between First and Willow streets are expected to be closed starting at 9 p.m. Friday.
The closure will remain in effect until 4 a.m. Monday, according to officials.
Rail service for the seven stations along Long Beach Boulevard will be replaced by bus shuttles.
The Blue Line between Willow Street and downtown Los Angeles will not be affected.
