Man Fatally Struck By Hit-And-Run Driver In Canoga Park

CANOGA PARK (CBS) — Los Angeles police Saturday were looking for a driver of a white pickup truck that fatally struck a man in Canoga Park.

The accident, which killed a 52-year-old man, was reported about 11:15 p.m. Friday on Saticoy at Jordan Avenue, according to police.

According to authorities, the suspect may have been driving a white or light-colored Dodge Durango or a Toyota Tacoma fitted with a camper shell.

The victim, whose name has not been released, was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.

    Incorrect headline – he was not struck by a hit and run driver, unless the driver had a previous hit and run which is unknown.
    In this instance, the driver did not become a hit-run driver until after he failed to stop after hitting the guy. No editors on weekends?
