LOS ANGELES (CBS) — The ultraviolet index level in the Los Angeles area will be 11 on Saturday.

The reading indicates the expected UV exposure at noon when the sun’s rays are at their strongest.

A very high exposure level reading of 10 or greater means a fair-skinned person could suffer from a sunburn in about four minutes if not protected.

Ultraviolet radiation is the cause for many health problems including skin cancer and cataracts.

What makes this particular day worse than any of the rest in July, August, SEptember of 2011?????
Do we have to watch the 5-6 or 11 o clock news?
There are so many stories out there, where NONE are finished.
