Girlfriend Of Suspect In Brian Stow Beating Arrested In Vegas

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — A Las Vegas woman who police may suspect have acted as the getaway driver for the suspects in an assault on a fan at Dodger Stadium was arrested on Thursday.

Denise Piccione, 26, was arrested on drug, weapons and prostitution charges nearly two months after her boyfriend Giovanni Ramirez, 31, was arrested as a suspect in the beating of San Francisco Giants fan Brian Stow on opening day.

KNX 1070's John Brooks reports LAPD detectives are headed for Vegas to interview Piccione, but it's not clear whether she is considered a suspect or an alibi witness.

LAPD Chief Charlie Beck recently told reporters that police were still looking for a second attacker and a woman who drove them away from the stadium parking lot.

"There are at least two outstanding suspects that we are actively searching for," said Beck at the time.

Ramirez remains in jail for parole violations but has not been officially charged in connection with the assault.
