CRENSHAW (CBS) — Thirty-one students from Crenshaw High School are making the trip to China Thursday as part of a cultural exchange, and for many, it’s their first trip out of California.
The student ambassadors from the Los Angeles Urban League’s Crenshaw2China (C2C) Educational & Cultural Exchange will make presentations to Chinese students in Beijing and Shanghai.
“Their culture is rich. Its great for both of us,” said C2C student Marshawn Williams.
The group traveled courtesy of American Airlines to Beijing Thursday to begin a 10-day cultural exchange trip.
The C2C delegation will blog daily at http://www.LAC2C.org.
