CANOGA PARK (CBS) — Two major Los Angeles area malls are going green by adding solar panels to their roofs.
Solar panels will be installed on the rooftops of the Westfield Topanga and the Westfield Fashion Square. The panels will generate more than 2.4 million kilowatts, according to Westfield officials.
The project will cost about $6.6 million and will be the largest solar project currently underway for Westfield.
