BURBANK (CBS) — Amtrak plans to offer half-price fares this weekend to passengers traveling between Union Station in downtown and Bob Hope Airport in Burbank, giving travelers another option during the upcoming closure of the San Diego (405) Freeway.
With the discount, the fare between downtown Los Angeles and Burbank on the Pacific Surfliner train will be $3 each way. The price for kids (ages 2-15), who are accompanied by an adult, will be $1.50 each way.
