LOS ANGELES (CBS) — The Los Angeles Dodgers are expected to hold Jewish Community Day during Sunday’s game against the San Diego Padres.
Former Dodger outfielder Shawn Green will be among those in attendance, signing copies of his book “The Way of Baseball: Finding Stillness at 95 mph.”
He is also expected to throw the ceremonial first pitch.
Cantor Jessica Hutchings of Temple Menorah in Redondo Beach is also expected to attend the event and will sing the national anthem and “God Bless America.”
Kosher food will be available.
