LA Hotels, Eateries Roll Out Red Carpet Deals For Royal Visit

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Several local business are hoping to cash in on the arrival on Friday of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

Pink's on La Brea in Hollywood is offering a meal fit for a prince with its "royal dog": two hot dogs on one bun with bacon and chili and all the fixings.

And as KNX 1070's Jon Baird reports, if your names happen to be the same as Prince William and his wife, Catherine, you can score a free stay at the Red Lion Hotel in Anaheim throughout July and August.

"If you're named William or Kate or Catherine and you're married and you've got a driver's license and a marriage certificate to present to the front desk, we will give you a free three-night stay at the Red Lion," a hotel spokeswoman said.

The hotel will even provide a crown and tiara for the guests.

Other hotels are offering regal deals ranging anywhere from $585 a night to $6,000 for a two-night stay.
