Winchester Man, 28, Accused Of Murdering Uncle

TEMECULA (CBS) — A Winchester man suspected of killing his uncle was behind bars Thursday.

Kyle Miller, 28, was arrested on suspicion of murdering 53-year-old Bradley Capen.

According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, deputies were sent to the victim’s Temecula home in the 44900 block of Los Caballos Road shortly after 9 a.m. Wednesday to investigate a report of an assault.

Capen’s body was discovered inside the house.

Sheriff’s Sgt. Brian Reno alleged that evidence linked Miller to the attack, and he was arrested without incident hours later at his residence.

The suspect was booked into the Southwest Detention Center in Murrieta, where’s he’s being held in lieu of $1 million bail.

I’m looking forward to what these comments will say since the people involved aren’t immediately obviously minorities. so many racist comments when stories like this are posted.

    • Don

Some people are so obsessed and focused with race that their eyes are crossed and are missing teeth…..look around!

  • Death is inevitable

    Another dead.

  • 1stman

Well at least he didn’t go shoot up a whole school because they made fun of him.

    • winchester

That’s true but, they did find a dead body at his house also

  • James

So now the illegal immigrants are changing their names and dying their skin white so they can continue committing crimes in the U.S.? Awful.

  • jryan

He is white no hispanic in him. no one made fun of him in school and he would never shoot up a school either. What this article fails to say is how abusive relationship was with his uncle.

Actually I have known this Man and his family since I was a child. You can read my post of you would like to see my intimate opinion. However Brad was a good man who loved his family and was a good friend and uncle to Kyle. You should be aware that many people just murder either from intention or out of the reaction to an incident or moment in time.

    • winchester

honestly that is a copout. He is a grown man. He made a dession to continue going to his house. If de didn’t like the way he was being treated he didn’t have to go over.

Kinda funny you say that… See when his mother, sister, two little brothers all live with his uncle then I personally believe that going to see his mother would be the main reason for going there. So, I’m guessing a choice to go to his uncles house is a normal choice if your whole family resides there?

The Internet can be informative but actual life has the ability to see what is really going on. Personal opinion only… You don’t need to quote me on that! And just to let you know, Kyle was never treated badly by his uncle at all. Kyle is just a huge a&@ and he destroys everything he has ever touched.

@ jryan How do you know the relationship with his uncle was abusive? Do YOU know the nephew?

I have been unfortunate to know Kyle Miller and his entire family since I was just a child. He and his family have always dealt with the many struggles in life, thus this incident has not been a surprise to me. He has been in and out of jail since a child and his siblings have done the same.

You may say that this atrocity could have stemmed from his childhood and I may just be inclined to agree. However the type of person to commit murder can only blame himself or herself. His father had left his family at an early age and refused to acknowledge Kyle soon after he had left his family to ready start anew. His mother has never been the type to discipline any child, which has caused Kyle and his siblings to end up violating the law.

Kyle has been stealing his uncles marijuana as well as other things since before I can remember, and I believe that this murder may have just been another robbery that just got way out of hand.

My condolences go out to his mother since she is the one who has to live with this for the rest of her life. Not only has she lost a good brother she has also lost a son. This will not be the last time that one of her children will be in legal trouble and I believe that she will still stand by her son even though he has killed a member of her family. She has always had a weakness for helping her children even though they are doing wrong and when they do commit some atrocity she turns a blind eye.

I am personally sad that it had to be the loss of another life in order to put Kyle Miller behind bars for the rest of his life however I knew he would be there at some point in his life. This is a sad time for their family as well as Kyle’s child that will be raised knowing that his father will be in jail for the rest of his life.

I am truly sorry for Brad, as he had to loose his life just so a bad person could end up where they belong. As well as truly sad for Kyle’s mother since she will be the only one carrying the weight of all this.

@ anonymous…is there a way to talk you you outside this the forum…?

      • Anonymous

The reason why I wanted to be listed as anonymous is because I was just quite annoyed with all the unintelligent banter on our friends Facebook pages in regards to this matter. However if you would like to post your email I will contact you. However I would like to know who I would be speaking to as well as keep my self anonymous since I would like to stay distant from this situation. I do not normally speak to anybody from the internet as I have a important job and a family, I will check back and see if an email is provided in a few days.
