Residents On Edge After Coyotes Kill 3 Dogs In Altadena
ALTADENA (CBS) — Altadena residents are on edge after three dogs were killed by coyotes in the past week.
The attacks occurred on or near Mendocino Street by the Altadena Golf Course.
Sunny Murchison, whose 9-year-old Miniature Pinscher was mauled by a coyote Thursday night, says she's moving out of the neighborhood.
KNX 1070's Ed Mertz reports.
"They're cunning; they're formidable hunters, and they killed my dog," Murchison told CBS2.
In the past week alone, 13 sightings have been reported to the Sheriff's Department.
Other residents worry that children may be in danger, but so far, there are no reports of humans being attacked.
