Dodgers Send Gordon Back To Albuquerque
(CBS) -- The Los Angeles Dodgers have sent rookie shortstop Dee Gordon to Triple-A Albuquerue and promoted former San Francisco Giant Eugenio Velez.
Velez was hitting .339 in the minor leagues.
According to Tony Jackson of ESPNLosAngeles.com, when told about the move Gordon said, "I'm not worried about it because I'm just going to play and make myself a better player. I'm just going to work hard enough so that next time I come, I won't have to go back down. "
