3 Shot After Fight Erupts At Graduation Party In Pomona

POMONA (CBS) — Police said three men were wounded in a shooting at a graduation party in Pomona.

 

Shots rang out in the 2100 block of Spencer Avenue shortly after 11 p.m. Saturday, Pomona police Sgt. Iain Miller said.

Upon arrival, officers found Tomas Mejia of Pomona suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to an area hospital where he was listed in critical condition.

A second shooting victim, identified as 22-year-old Joshua Sotello of West Covina, was treated at the scene and released and a third, 20-year-old Anthony Richmond of Rancho Cucamonga, was hospitalized with stable vital signs.

A fourth victim, 21-year-old Neyra Carrillo of Pomona, who was not shot was also treated at the scene after being punched, according to authorities.
