Kuroda, Gwynn Jr. Lead Dodgers Past Angels, 5-0
(CBS) -- Hiroki Kuroda brushed aside trade rumors and Tony Gwynn Jr. reached base safely six times as the Dodgers beat the Angels Friday night in Anaheim, 5-0.

Kuroda pitched seven innings, allowing three hits and striking out four.
The 36-year-old, who reportedly would waive his no-trade clause if properly compensated is being mentioned in trade talks with teams like the Colorado Rockies, Cincinnati Reds and Atlanta Braves.
On offense, Tony Gwynn Jr. once again led the way going 3-3 with three walks, including a perfect bunt single in the 3rd inning.
Gwynn has collected at least 3-hits in three of the past five games.
Aaron Miles reached base all five times he came to the plate, going 4-4 with a walk and a RBI.
The Angels received a scare in the second inning when Kuroda plunked Torii Hunter, forcing him to leave the game with a bruised hand.
The 35-year-old was taken for precautionary X-rays.
Hunter didn't play in the previous Freeway Series last weekend at Dodger Stadium because of sore ribs.
Angels starter Tyler Chatwood struggled, scattering 12 hits and 4 runs over 5 innings.
