3 Hurt, Including 2 LAPD Officers, In Reseda Crash
RESEDA (CBS) — An investigation was underway Friday into an early-morning crash that left three injured, including two Los Angeles police officers.
The collision occurred approximately 2 a.m. at the intersection of Saticoy and Wyandotte in Reseda, according to authorities.
Multiple patrol cars were responding as back-up to an emergency call when a car driven by a 24-year-old civilian allegedly failed to yield to one of the vehicles.
The impact of the crash caused a power pole to tumble and took down a fire hydrant, creating a geyser, authorities said.
The woman was taken to a hospital where she was being treated for minor injuries. One of two of the officers was treated and released, while the third suffered a broken arm and was undergoing x-rays earlier this morning.
Reseda Boulevard between Saticoy and Wyandotte will be shut down until at least 11 a.m. for an ongoing investigation.
