The British Are Coming! Wills, Kate Arrive In Canada

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Wills and Kate arrived in Canada Thursday on their first trip to North America as a married couple.

Prince William and Catherine Middleton left the United Kingdom Thursday morning on their first official visit, which includes a stop in Los Angeles.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will tour Canada for several days before heading to Southern California in July.

Their first night in Los Angeles includes a reception at the Beverly Hilton for U.K. trade interests, as well as another reception with the U.K. Consul General.

Also on the royal itinerary is a polo match in Santa Barbara, a black tie gala and a trip to skid row.

Los Anegeles ????? Come on, does no one proof read anymore? CBS wake up. And “Wills? Is this William’s nickname?

Would love to see them in person, but the crowds in the US will probably be unruly as usual. They are a breath of fresh air.

the HEADER for this story is TOTALLY inappropriate the term THE BRITISH ARE COMMING is a term of fear and hate steming back to our colonial days have a little common sence who ever wrote this one. a more respectful header would have been, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge arrive in canada
