Feds Nab Alleged Drug Kingpin In San Fernando Valley Bust
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Days after the arrest of notorious fugitive James "Whitey" Bulger, another one of the most wanted criminals in the U.S. has been nabbed in the Southland.
Keith Hasson, 45, was taken into custody on Wednesday at an apartment near Shoup Avenue and Victory Boulevard in Woodland Hills, according to the U.S. Marshals Service.
KNX 1070's Ed Mertz reports Hasson is allegedly the figurehead of a nationwide cocaine and marijuana distribution network.

Officials said Hasson has a criminal history spanning three decades, including arrests for attempted murder, robbery, and assault with a deadly weapon.
The arrest comes a week after one of the FBI's most-wanted fugitives, James "Whitey" Bulger, was arrested in Santa Monica.
