Police Nab Knife-Wielding Man In Venice Barricade Situation
VENICE (CBS) — A knife-wielding man police described as mentally ill barricaded himself inside a Venice apartment before being taken into custody, authorities said.
Los Angeles police Officer Karen Rayner said the man was reported to be on Fleet Street near Speedway and the Venice Pier at around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.
He was taken into custody about 9:45 p.m. without incident.
No one was injured.
