EAST LOS ANGELES (CBS) — The Los Angeles County Fire Department said a small brush fire burned nearly six acres of an East Los Angeles-area hillside near the county fire headquarters Tuesday.

No building damage or injuries were reported.

The fire, near Eastern Avenue and Sheriff Road, broke out about 12:30 p.m., according to County Fire Inspector Don Kunitomi.

Three water-dropping helicopters and about 200 firefighters were assigned to the blaze, he said.

The cause of the fire has not been determined.
