RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA (CBS) — Firefighters in Orange County are battling a brush fire in Rancho Santa Margarita.

The Orange County Fire Authority reports that the blaze, which broke out about 2:20 p.m. Saturday, is reportedly moving toward homes.

Wind conditions are about 11 miles per hour, according to authorities.

The Orange County Fire Authority says plenty of resources are working on the fire.

    I see a lot of smoke from my home in Ladera Ranch (Covenant Hills). About 15-20 fire trucks have come by and 2 water dropping helicopters.

      You are most likely correct. We were in Ladera and live in Rancho, While heading back past lots of Fire Vehicles
