Judge Orders Lohan To Stop Partying At Probation Hearing

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — A judge has ordered Actress Lindsay Lohan to stop having parties at her Venice home while she is on house arrest for a probation violation.

"Having parties on the roof of your house ... is extremely poor judgment," Judge Stephanie Sautner told Lohan.

Lohan was in court Thursday morning to determine if she violated the terms of her probation in a 2007 DUI case.

TMZ and Radar Online previously reported that 24-year-old Lohan tested positive for alcohol in the past week, which would have violated her probation. Judge Sautner determined Thursday that an earlier order from a different judge requiring her to be tested for alcohol had expired, legally allowing her to drink.

Recent media reports have shown Lohan, who turns 25 on July 2, socializing on the roof of her Venice home.

"Don't do stupid things that fly in the face of the spirit of the court's order," the judge said. "Having parties on your roof ... how dumb is that?"

Sautner also told Lohan that she can only have one friend over at a time until her house arrest ends in early July.

Last month, Lohan pleaded no contest to the misdemeanor grand theft of a $2,500 necklace Venice jewelry store Kamofie & Company.

She was given jail time and community service, but ended up with home detention, which she is scheduled to complete in 35 days.

A progress report hearing has been scheduled for July 21.
