(CBS) – With the 26th pick in the NBA draft, the Dallas Mavericks selected Jordan Hamilton from the University of Texas.

Hamilton played his high school ball at Dominguez HS in Compton.

Assuming the defending champions re-sign Tyson Chandler, the Mavericks will have two Dons on their roster.

The 6″8 forward averaged 18.8 ppg last year for the Longhorns.
