AP: ‘Octomom’ Fertility Doctor Moves To Keep License

LOS ANGELES (AP) — The fertility doctor who helped “Octomom” Nadya Suleman become the mother of 14 children through repeated in vitro treatments wants to keep practicing medicine while he appeals his license revocation.

In a Los Angeles Superior Court petition filed Monday, Dr. Michael Kamrava asks the court to delay a decision that revokes his license to practice medicine as of July 1.

Kamrava says he wants to file an appeal because losing his license would be detrimental to his ability to earn a living.

Kamrava says the board exceeded its jurisdiction in revoking the license.

No date has been set for the court to hear the request.
