LOS ANGELES (CBS) — A woman in her 60s suffered fractures in both legs after being struck by a hit-and-run driver in a head-on collision in Valley Village.

The crash occurred about 2 a.m. Sunday in the 12300 block of Riverside Drive, Los Angeles police Sgt. Frank Albarran of the North Hollywood Station said.

Police are trying to locate the hit-and-run driver who left his wrecked vehicle at the scene. He is believed to be in his 20s.

The victim was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, according to police.

    What was she doing at that time? She may have coming back from the sancho.

    It doesn’t matter what she was doing as long as she wasn’t breaking any laws unlike the driver.
