Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (June 16)

STUDIO CITY (CBS) — The marine layer is thickening Thursday morning to about 3000', giving way to the possibility of a little localized drizzle.

Expect daytime highs to drop from Wednesday. There are also some gusty winds kicking up in the high desert and a wind advisory has been issued for later in the day. The advisory runs from noon through the early evening.

The trough remains in place through Saturday with another drizzle chance Friday morning. However next week it now appears we may get that summer weather we've been missing. Right now it looks like a ridge of high pressure will move in to give us some significant warming.

Coastal - mid 60s
Basin - low 70s
Valleys -upper 70s
Deserts - upper 80s
Mountains - mid 70s
