Police In Riverside County Pursue Possible Armed Robbery Suspects

PERRIS (CBS) — Police in Riverside County Tuesday evening pursued two men in a car believed to be armed robbery suspects.

The armed robbery is believed to have occurred near the intersection of Hole and La Sierra.

At least one of the suspects is believed to be armed with a handgun.

No injuries were reported in the robbery that happened just after 9:15 p.m., according to authorities.

It is unclear whether the robbery occurred at a business or if pedestrians were involved.

Officials report that the suspects threw money out the window during the pursuit.

Police reportedly took the two men into custody about 45 minutes after the chase began.
