Public's Help Sought In Locating Missing Man, 55

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — The family of a missing man with schizophrenia and diabetes is asking for the public's help to locate him.

Johnnie Cortez, who is also known as "Rabbit," was last seen on Witmer and 2nd Street near downtown about 1 p.m. Friday, according to relatives.

Relatives say the 55-year-old is a Vietnam War Veteran.

He is 5'7, weighs 220 pounds and has brown eyes and gray, short hair. Cortez was last seen wearing
black beach sandals, black jeans and a black hooded sweater.
