LOS ANGELES (CBS) — A woman in her 20s was stabbed on her face and leg, then had a gun pointed at her during a dispute that broke out when she questioned her driver's route to Los Angeles International Airport early Thursday.

The victim was dropped off at the airport near Terminal 2, near Virgin Atlantic, at about 12:15 a.m., said a Los Angeles police officer at LAX. She was treated by paramedics and released at the scene for minor cut wounds.

The suspect is married to the victim, according to police.

The victim was planning to take a red eye flight to New York, police said.

Officers were planning to take the suspect into custody today, police said.
