Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (June 8)

STUDIO CITY (CBS) — Typical June Gloom pattern setting up for the rest of the week and weekend. That means low clouds in the morning, burning off for hazy sunshine by the afternoon and then the low clouds roll right back in.

Temperatures will still hover 5 to 7 degrees below average for this time of year. The marine layer is at about 2000'. That's enough to spread into some valley locations.

By next week, the high pressure nudges over so there is still the possibility that we could tap into some warmer air. Temperatures could reach the 80s later next week.

Coastal - upper 60s
Basin - low 70s
Valleys -upper 70s
Deserts - upper 70s
Mountains - mid 60s
