State Appellate Court Stops Sale Of OC Fairgrounds
SANTA ANA (CBS) — A three-judge appellate panel Tuesday stopped the state's sale of the Orange County Fairgrounds in Costa Mesa.
The justices overturned a lower court's decision to reject an injunction that would have stopped the sale of the fairgrounds to Facilities Management West for $100 million.
The appellate justices ruled that state lawmakers should have had a chance to veto the most recent deal.
