LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Los Angeles police were investigating the drive-by shooting at a party in the Harbor area of a man who then drove himself to the hospital, an LAPD spokesman said.
The shooting, at about 11:30 p.m. Sunday, was in the 400 block of west Sepulveda Boulevard, Sgt. Danny Contreras said.
The victim was in an “impromptu gathering of locals, when the suspect fired multiple rounds into the group and the victim was struck in the leg,” Contreras said.
The victim took himself to Harbor Kaiser hospital for treatment, and he would not cooperate with police, Contreras said.
The shooting is believed gang-related.
