79-Year-Old Man Who Suffers From Dementia And Heart Trouble Missing In Indio

INDIO (CBS) — Police searched Saturday for a 79-year-old man who is medically fragile.

Charles Tribble, who suffers from dementia and heart trouble, was last seen around 10 p.m. Friday, when he left his home in the 81000 block of Primrose Way in Indio.

Officials say the man left home without his medication.

He was last seen in his 2006 silver four-door Ford Focus, the Indio Police Department said in a statement.

Police received word around 10:10 a.m. today that the car was spotted unattended in a parking lot in Buckeye, Ariz., but there was no sign of Tribble. The vehicle was being swept for clues, police said.

Tribble is 5 feet 9, weighs about 180 pounds and was last seen wearing a white tank top and khaki pants.

Anyone with information about Tribble's whereabouts was urged to call police at (760) 391-4057.
