Angels Charter Flight Makes Emergency Landing At LAX

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — A Delta charter flight carrying members of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim has made a safe emergency landing at Los Angeles International Airport.

Victor Rojas, the team's announcer, reportedly tweeted that the team was on board the 737-800 aircraft that flew in from Kansas City at 8:53 p.m. Wednesday.

Angels Vice President of Communications Tim Mead told CBS2/KCAL9 the plane was expected to land at John Wayne Airport in Orange County, but was diverted to Los Angeles due to hydraulic problems.
