Padilla To Return Friday; Broxton Getting Close
LOS ANGELES (CBS) - Don Mattingly told reporters before Wednesday's game against the Rockies that Vicente Padilla will be activated from the DL on Friday to face the Reds.
Padilla threw two shut out innings in his rehab assignment in Class A Rancho Cucamanga.
Padilla was sidelined since May 14th with radial nerve irritation.
It is unclear who will be the closer with Jonathon Broxton close to returning as well. Broxton will be traveling with the team to throw some bullpen sessions.
