Helicopter Crews Rescue Injured Hiker Near Topanga State Park

TOPANGA STATE PARK (CBS) — A 60-year-old man who was injured while hiking near the Topanga State Park area is being rescued by paramedics, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The injury occurred at 17401 W. Vereda De La Montura and was reported at 6:21 p.m., Scott says.

The hiker possibly suffers a broken ankle.

The unidentified man was hoisted aboard a Los Angeles Fire Department helicopter and flown to a hospital, LAFD representative Erik Scott said.
